Ingredients:
– 300g flour
– ½ tbsp salt
– 2 tbsp sugar
– 70g soft butter
– 1dl lukewarm milk
– 1 egg
– Dessert spice
Put the flour in a bowl and mix with the salt and sugar.
Also add the softened butter as well as the dissolved yeast in the milk.
Knead the ingredients together lightly, add the egg and shape the dough into a nice, smooth ball.
Cover the dough, leave it in a warm place and allow it to double in size.
Now form individual balls from the dough, which have a diameter of approximately 2.5cm. Heat oil in a deep fryer or pan to 160 degrees and deep-fry for +/- 4 minutes until golden brown.
Remove the balls from the fat and coat them directly in the dessert seasoning.
Not just a pleasure at carnival time!
