It all begins with taste
On April 1, 1980, Peter and Pia Stettler took the step into self-employment with a lot of passion and a big portion of courage. Their idea: to offer butchers a fine additional range that supports sales and delights customers.
In the old slaughterhouse in Bussnang, they mixed, tasted, and produced by hand with passion. The first creations – a Vegetable Broth and the Butcher Marinade were small masterpieces with great taste.
The marinade, in particular, proved to be a perfect door opener, thanks to Peter's experience as a master butcher. Thus, the first customers quickly took a liking, and the Stedy-story had its lively beginning.

What Stedy matters
With Stedy it's not just about seasoning, but about a life with flavor: honest, heartfelt, and simply fine. It's about people, joy, and genuine craftsmanship.
Our values have been with us since day one and make Stedy what it is today: a manufactory with heart and taste.

Honest & Natural
We believe in the real thing: natural ingredients, honest work and the courage to keep things simple. We only put in the glass what should also be in our own kitchen, without frills. You can feel this honesty in the taste and hopefully also in every encounter with us. That's why every Stedyspice contains exactly what it promises: simple, honest and full of flavour.

Heart & Joy
We do what we love and you can taste it. Whether it's filling, mixing or tasting: we laugh a lot, help each other and celebrate even small successes. For us, joy is not a coincidence, but the most important ingredient in everyday life. Because if you work with a smile, you also conjure it up on the plate of others.

Together & Family
At Stedy , people know each other, help each other and stick together. Many of our employees have been with us for years and you can see that in every detail. Our clientele (we call them "fans") is also part of our Stedyfamily. We listen, learn from each other and grow together. Because together it remains genuine, warm and lively.
Always believe in it and get up once more than fall down
— Peter Stettler "Stedy", trained butcher and inventor of all recipes.
